Lacquer is used in various historical buildings as a craft material from long ago.
Yamizonuri is carefully made by the craftsman, cutting out the piece of Keyaki, and making the bowl shape. Each bowl has the process of lacquering, polishing, and drying. This cycle is repeated many times over three months to have the final product.

漆は古くからの工芸材料であり、様々な文化財や伝統建築物にも使われています。
八溝塗は一人の職人が1品ずつ欅を削り出しお椀の形を作ります。その後一品ずつ漆塗り、研き、乾燥を何度も繰り返し、3ケ月以上の時間を掛けて制作されます。
